A charismatic new girl band, a ruthless industry mogul and a struggling singer-songwriter. This tragicomic tale follows 7 characters over the course of one tumultuous year as they experience the highs-and-lows of fame and wrestle with the tough choices it brings.
Fast paced, bursting with humour, original songs, dance and high-energy sequences from Girlz’ live-show, Girlz also tackles current issues including mental health, media trolling and sexual harassment. Ultimately however, Girlz is a tale of friendship and love in a cut-throat industry.
The Venue:
Greenside @ George Street is one of the biggest hub venues at the Fringe with 7 different performance spaces, bars and more. Situated in the pedestrianized George St, just minutes from the mound and a short stroll from the Royal Mile. Jade Studio is a lovely 65 capacity venue with large thrust stage so you’ll be right in the middle of the action.
